SONG LIST FOR AUDITIONS
ALL PERFORMERS MUST PRE-REGISTER.
To do so, send an email to HDGDramaDirector@ aol.com and include the following information:

Name
Age
Grade entering during 2009/2010 year
Time that you would prefer to audition
(director can use discretion to change audition times as needed)
Songs chosen for audition from lists below
Any special needs

A confirmation email will be returned to each performer to confirm audition.  If you do not receive one within 3 days of sending the email, please call us at 410-702-5914.

Each performer should select a 1 song from each genre (50's&60's, 70's&80's and Country) listed below to perform for the judges.  It is important to understand the demographics, including ages, of most of our audiences which dictates our songs and shows.  If the performer has a song that is not on the list that they would like to audition with, please include that information in your email to the director so that the song can be approved for the audition process.  Also, be aware that we can change the key of the music to suit your voice.  Keep in mind that we are NOT looking for 'perfection.'  We are watching for stage presence and the ability to stay on key for much of the song.

Songs will be sung from karaoke disc's supplied by the HDG Drama Guild during auditions unless performer has a version they prefer to use.
