What is Karaoke Koncerts?
There are two parts to Karaoke Koncerts. The first part is obvious... it is a Karaoke business. We do not charge for our service, however we ask for a donation to the HDG which goes to benefit our programs under the HDG Rec Com and the Activity Center.
The 2nd part is a lot less obvious....
The original concept behind Karaoke Koncerts is for a group of singers to come together, rehearse songs (with a little bit of "skit" to them) and then perform - for free - at nursing homes, rehab centers, hospitals, etc. We are moving back to the original concept slowly but surely.
In returning to the "showbiz" aspect, we are seeking 5 men and 5 women who are willing to donate their time and efforts to put together a "traveling show" around Harford County and possibly all of Maryland and the lower parts of DE and PA. We understand that due to work schedules it might seem a bit "impossible." Therefore, we need to make sure that those the volunteer to be a part of the program are willing to truly donate their time and efforts.
