HDG ACTIVITY CENTER PARKING LOT LAYOUT FOR VENDORS - NOT TO SCALE
POLICY AND PROCEDURES - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING AGREEMENT

I understand that this is a contract between the Havre de Grace Recreation Committee, the HDG Drama Guild and myself or my business to rent a designated space at the HdG Activity Center on September 27, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to be held at the Havre de Grace Activity Center located at 351 Lewis Lane, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078.  This rented space is to be used for the purposes of selling my personal goods or the goods of my business as selected above.   I also agree to the following rules and understand that failure to follow them may result in my removal from the property and that no refund will be given.

1). Vendors may setup no earlier then 7:30 a.m. within their designated spot(s) only.  Vendors must be off the premises no later then 4:45 p.m. or a charge of $5 for every 5 minutes over that time will be due and payable immediately.
2). Outside vendors will be assigned a single parking space for their use (cars not permitted).  Inside vendors will have a general area of 6 feet across by 8 feet to setup their sale item’s (approx. the same size as an outdoor parking space).
3). Outside and Multipurpose Room vendors MUST provide their own tables.
4). Vendors inside the gym MUST use tables and chairs assigned to them by the event organizer or Activity Center*.  No other tables or chairs may be used without due inspection and expressed consent from the facility director, Karen Green and/or the event organizer, Tom Barnes.  There is to be NO eating or drinking at any time inside the gym. These rules are to protect the gym floor from any accidental damage.
5). Inside vendors may not bring in chemicals of any kind to sell or use for demonstration purposes.
6). There are to be no sales of any illegal substance(s) or item(s) that are covered under Maryland and federal laws.
7). Spaces will be assigned based on factors such as request
*, the date/time form was received, etc. and is assigned by the event organizer.  Vendors will be notified as quickly as possible what space is allocated for their use. (Organizer’s will number spaces with chalk prior to vendor arrival, if possible). *If you have a special request, please include a note.
8). This agreement in no way implies that a specific space will be guaranteed to any vendor by the Recreation Committee or the Drama Guild and that spaces may be reassigned up to and including the day of the Community Yard Sale by the event organizer.  Vendors may check www.hdgDramaTroop.com for space allocation and diagram.
9).  There is a no refund policy if the vendor does not occupy their assigned space for any reason, including weather.
10). Vendors will not hold the Recreation Committee or Drama Guild responsible for failure to sell items or the damage to and/or theft of items. Security of vendor items & assigned vendor space is the responsibility of the vendor.
11). There is no scheduled rain date.  Vendors may choose to “tent” their items, or, if space is available inside, to move inside with the expressed consent of the event organizer only.
12). No tents may be staked into the ground or tied to trees, walls, or poles to prevent damage to the center property.
13). There is a no smoking, no alcohol and no drug possession or use policy at the Activity Center as it is on Harford County Public School property.  Failure to obey this will result in removal from property with no refund.
14).  Signed agreements, rental fee(s) ($15 for individual and $25 for businesses) and requests are due no later then Friday, September 19, 2008.  No agreements or special requests will be processed after that date.
